LA ROUX – BULLETPROOF (ElectroPop – UK)
La Roux is an English electropop synth duo made up of singer and synth player Eleanor Jackson, known as Elly, and co-writer and co-producer Ben Langmaid.
Though it might look like a solo act, Elly describes it as “very much a half and half sharing situation… not like a singer producer outfit”. Surfing the wave of newly popular electro acts such as Dragonette, Chew Lips or Annie, La Roux are gathering much buzz and now ready to conquer the charts with a first album coming out later this year on Polydor.
Their first single ‘Quicksand’ was released, to much acclaim, in 2008 on hip label Kitsuné and the second single ‘In For The Kill’ became a top 10 hit in the UK in March. You can now enjoy an all new track, ‘Bulletproof’, which is also destined to be a hit..

i guess lyrics can always be improved but i don’t think LaRoux lyrics are especially dumb
