FEIERTAG + OLI HANNAFORD – OCEAN (Electronica/Idm – Netherlands)

Berlin-based label Sonar Kollektiv recently signed Feiertag, the alter ego of Dutch live-act Joris Feiertag. Recording and performing since 2015, Feiertag is a seasoned live drummer and accomplished composer, but he is not afraid to flex his producer muscle too! With his single ‘Ocean’, he combines swelling synth sounds with a warm bass line and pulsating drums played like only a real drummer can. Joris plays all the instruments himself and is joined on vocals by UK-based singer Oli Hannaford.

‘Ocean’ is the first taste of a three-part series released on Sonar Kollektiv, with Feiertag’s six-track EP Severance available in January 2020.
