SON LUX – EASY (IDM/Electronica – US)
LA-based genre-bending artist Son Lux (Ryan Lott) has been churning out unique, wildly creative compositions since the late noughties. Taken off his 2013 LP Lanterns (Joyful Noise Recordings), “Easy” is a slow jam which starts with a single repeated note and gradually introduces more elements (claps, horns), with a slow build up and simmering tension under its apparently calm surface.
