MNDR, aka Amanda Warner and Peter Wade, first teamed up in 2008 after discovering a mutual love of experimental pop music. Their debut album, Feed Me Diamonds, is the result of their tireless efforts to translate raw emotions into music that grooves without excess glitter. The title track is a throbbing passionate song, which Warner says is directly influenced by performance artist Marina Abramovic.
The single comes with remixes by Gutter Brothers, Safety Scissors, Killgore, Oliver Nelson, RAC and many more…
If you like what you hear, you should probably check out MNDR’s previous singles “#1 in Heaven” and “Cut me Out”. As a bonus, here is a remix the pair recently produced for queer punk art band Ssion.

MNDR’s debut full-length was announced as far back as February so no need to say fans and critics have pretty high expectations. In interviews, Singer/songwriter Amanda Warner explained that she wanted to create “something that was like industrial pop (…) something kind of dark”. Influenced by German minimal electronica, early house music, but also hip hop and electropop. she worked hard with producer Peter Wade to distill all these genres into their new compositions.

It is (almost) official now, Brooklyn’s own MNDR will be releasing their debut album sometime this year and the first single is already out on Ultra Music. With this new track, singer songwriter Amanda Warner and producer Peter Wade set their sights on the dancefloor and the result is a super catchy synthpop gem.
“#1 In Heaven” flawlessly combines Wade’s richly textured sound and Warner’s irresistible hooks with the sole purpose of making you dance. Having worked with Mark Ronson on his chart-topping single “Bang Bang Bang” and toured alongside Chromeo, MNDR are slowly but surely setting themselves up for stardom. Stay tuned…
