THE PIROUETTES – JE NOUS VOIS (SynthPop – France)

Vickie Chérie and Leo Bear Creek met in high school, fell in love and formed synthpop duo The Pirouettes. Deliciously retro and seductive, their songs revolve around two voices entwining and merging to tell simple stories with a natural and irresistible pop virtuosity.

Their latest EP features stunning new track “Je Nous Vois” and B-side “Soleil Rare”, both displaying a clear taste for neat electronic productions mixing innocence and maturity. Swirling synths and sharp 80s beats are more than ever synonym with ultra-contemporary music (reminiscent of fellow Frenchies Jupiter and Anoraak).
