TOUCHY MOB – CAKE EP (Alternative/Indie – Germany)

Touchy Mob

Berlin’s own Touchy Mob (aka Ludwig Plath) makes lonesome haunting folktronica that touches the heart and makes you weak at the knees. Over the past few years, he has released a slew of self-produced tracks, performed all across Europe and produced stellar remixes for the likes of How How, Caribou, Karneef and Toro Y Moi…

Toro Y Moi - Still Sound (Touchy Mob Remix)

How How - Bumpy (Touchy Mob Remix)

Touchy Mob’s latest release is a double A-side split 7″ with Tellavision. To help pay for the vinyl pressing, packaging and studio costs, they set up a crowd sourcing project and raised over €3000. The first track taken of the EP is “Stones”, which Plath describes as a song “about fighting, but a fight between friends or even lovers, so the bruises always have a sweet taste”.
