23-year-old singer Dequine has been making funky pop music from her native Kazakhstan since 2018. Her first EP Пьяная вишня (Drunken Cherry) was followed in June 2020 by her debut album, labum, which was her first release on a major music label (Warner Music Russia).

Dequine’s debut album, titled labum, was released on June 19th 2020. Featuring 13 songs, the album is divided into four parts, each reflecting on a specific emotion, and it is already being called “possibly the best Russian-language pop album of the year”.
