TOUKAN TOUKAN – LE MONDE A CHANGÉ (Indie/Pop – France)

French indie pop act Toukan Toukän is singer songwriter Laure and drummer Pierre. Together they have shaped a colourful universe that defies gloominess and can be listened to on repeat. Inspired by the pop legacy of the 4 last decades, from Bowie to Kate Bush and MIA, but also Grimes or MØ, their songs, sometimes sung in English, sometimes in French, are very spontaneous and could easily be the soundtrack of everyone’s everyday life, telling stories about little joys, flaws, and self-confidence.

Unveiled in November 2022, “Le Monde a Changé” is included in the band’s debut album Sirocco, released via Himalaya Club. It’s a nostalgic track with a great bass line, deliciously retro synths and a very effective chorus that will get stuck in your head in no time.
