French duo gone five-piece Isaac Delusion have a new line-up, a new label, a new album but one thing hasn’t changed, they are still passionate artists dedicated to continually exploring new musical landscapes. Out on April 7th via Parisian boutique label Microqlima, the band’s highly anticipated sophomore album was three long years in the making but the result is simply breathtaking.

MOME – PANORAMA (Synth/Electro – France)

Møme

Born on the French Riviera but based in Paris, Møme (aka Jérémy Souillart) is a young composer and producer whose blend of soulful electronica has been gaining considerable traction over the past two years. After releasing a handful of EPs and sharing stage with artists such as Chet Faker and Flume, Møme is now unveiling his long-awaited debut album, Panorama.


Released 25 November, Panorama features heavily layered, brightly shining electronic pieces that display Møme’s production skills and beat making artistry. The album was for the most part written and recorded while the young musician was touring Australia, a venture that brought him into contact with other producers and singers such as Merryn Jeann, Midnight To Monaco, Dylan Wright and more.

MEHARI – LONG WAY HOME (Alt/Indie – France)

Mehari

Formed in 2010 by Matthieu Hernandez (keys/vocals) and Pierre-Henri Izambert (on guitars, keys and bass), later joined by Denis Degioanni on drums, Mehari is an indie synth combo based out of Toulouse in Southern France.

Released by Champcaine Records, “Long Way Home” is a slow-moving, atmospheric piece featuring cosmic synths, funky guitars and evocative lyrics. Clocking in at 5 minutes 25 seconds this track is like a glimpse of summer in the dark winter days.

AGAR AGAR – CARDAN EP (Retro/Disco – France)

Paris-based synth disco outfit Agar Agar have just released their debut EP, Cardan, via Cracki Records. The duo consisting of singer Clara Cappagli and producer Armand Bultheel offer listeners an eclectic collection of synth-laden late night disco jams with a nostalgic twist.

“Prettiest Virgin” is a spellbinding 6-minute late night disco pop jam, laced with layers of icy synths and sleek minimal beats. Singer Clara lights up the dancefloor with her smooth and sultry vocals that tell the same old bittersweet story of unrequited love at the disco.

LOFRAMES + ANORAAK – SINCE YOU’VE GONE (Electro – France)

Loframes
Cooling you off from the summer sun, British/French electro duo Loframes and Paris-based dreampop wunderkind Anoraak team up for a disco-chill release. “Since You’ve Gone” guides listeners through a sea of psychedelic guitars, lush chords and ethereal vocals that will resonate with anyone who’s ever been in love.

Accompanying the original are two remixes that retool the song for clubs. Brooklyn’s own Lefti boosts the tempo and trades disco for synthpop,  paying homage to an era of neon skylines and underground clubs. Swiss producer Worship closes out the EP with layer upon layer of synths building the track up to an ecstatic climax.
