CHARLOTTE CARDIN – PHOENIX (Pop/Soul – Canada)

Singer-songwriter Charlotte Cardin, was born in Montreal and spent her childhood learning piano and taking singing lessons. Inspired by everyone from Radiohead to Etta James to Celine Dion, she mixes soul, electro and RnB into her vocal-driven pop compositions, drawing on the raw emotions that lie at the heart of all human connections and relationships. Cardin first broke through with her 2016 EP Big Boy, which proved a phenomenon with tracks such as “Like It Doesn’t Hurt (feat. Husser)” and “Dirty Dirty” quickly gaining critical acclaim the US.

Five years and many great songs later, the 26-year-old chanteuse released her highly anticipated debut full-length album Phoenix in April 2021 via Cult Nation / Atlantic Records. The debut album comprises 13 tracks, produced by Connor Seidel, Jason Brando and Marc-André Gilbert and it features stand-out singles “Meaningless”, “Daddy” and the title track “Phoenix”.
