Since 2015, Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Kid Bloom has been crafting his signature genre-bending style and recently co-wrote a song with Maroon 5 (featuring H.E.R.) for their latest LP. On the heels of his acclaimed 2020 Blood Sugar EP, Kid Bloom makes his Position Music debut with his glorious new single ‘Like I Never Left’.

Combining elements from 80s synth pop, funky bass lines and modern electro, this song is reminiscent of Tame Impala‘s hazy indie pop, with hints of fellow Angeleno outfit The Internet‘s neo-soul touch. ‘Like I Never Left’ definitely is one of those addictive pop gems that you won’t be able to listen to just once. Check it out below!

Bonus track: Before you go, get another serving of Kid Bloom’s 80s synthpop magic and stream ‘Wounded/Surrounded’, taken off the Blood Sugar EP.
