Max Raabe is a German jazz singer, best known as the founder and leader of the Palast Orchester. The song “Es Wird Wieder Gut” (“It will be alright again”) is taken off the 2022 album, Wer hat hier schlechte Laune, in which Raabe sings about love, about its delicate blossoming and fading, about feelings and their confusion. It’s about the combination of happiness and doubt, of euphoria and uncertainty, of joy in others and strife with oneself.
A definite highlight on the record, “Es Wird Wieder Gut” starts off slow and melancholy, but a smart instrumentation change turns this gentle initial rhythm into a euphoric and intense brass explosion. Check out the official video below!
