Melbourne-based outfit Clubfeet have a brand new single out and it’s stunning! ‘We Are Affected’ is the four-piece’s first splash of new music since 2013’s critically acclaimed Heirs & Graces. Recorded with co-producer Beni Single and mixer Eric J (Flight Facilities, Chet Faker) the new track is lifted from their forthcoming EP, due for release in early 2016.

Clubfeet first sprang to local and global attention when they released Gold on Gold through cult NYC house label Plant Music in 2010. Their sophomore release, Heirs & Graces, saw the band mature and expand their palette – spawning breakthrough tracks like ‘Heartbreak’ and ‘Everything You Wanted.’

SWIM – NEXT TO ME (Lounge/ Electro – Sweden)

Swim

Swedish duo Swim recently shared their debut single “Next To Me” – a warm soundscape dashed with Swedish melancholy. Frontwoman Erika’s heavy-hearted vocals are set against a strumming bass enriched by playful melodic synths and glitchy beats. The duo’s brand of disjointed, swaying electronic pop instantly stands out.

Erika and Carl have conspired to create music for late evenings, precious moments of solitude, drives along the seaside and the last throbbing hour on the dance floor. Swim’s dreamy sound has been given new dimensions by Swedish radio veterans Boeoes Kaelstigen, whose mix of minimal trance and melodic techno adds darker layers to the original. By bringing the original track up to DJ-friendly 109 BPM and adding club friendly percussions and hypnotic synthesizers they have taken the song to new heights.

MØME – ALOHA EP (Chillwave – France)

Møme

Born on the French Riviera but now based in Paris, Møme (aka Jérémy Souillart) is a young composer and producer whose blend of soulful electronica has been gaining considerable traction over the past year. After releasing two highly praised EPs and sharing stage with artists such as Chet Faker and Flume, Møme is now unveiling new single “Aloha” via DDM Recordings. Clocking in at 3min38, this sun-kissed new tune is a subtle mix of shimmering synths, slow motion beats and sensual vocals by Australian singer Merryn Jeann .

Released 18 September, “Aloha” is the title track to Møme’s third extended play, which has earned him glowing reviews and over half a million plays on SoundCloud. The EP includes a handful of heavily layered, brightly shining electronic pieces that display Souillart’s production talent and beat making artistry in equal measure.

Originally from Montpellier, France, Kazy Lambist is a 22-year-old beat maker and producer whose recently-released extended play, Doing Yoga, sits somewhere between the elegant pop of Metronomy and the chill wave of Rush Midnight. The young artist’s new single “On You” is an infectious slice of laid back electro with polished beats and smooth sexy synths. Put on your sunglasses and enjoy!

The title track, which garnered good reviews upon release last March, is just as addictive and intoxicating. Word on the street is Kazy Lambist is currently putting the finishing touches to his 8-track debut album, expected later this year. Soon but not soon enough.

Tora

Byron Bay natives Tora are part of the ever growing and widely acclaimed Australian electronic scene and they have experienced a meteoric rise in the last year or so. With millions of Soundcloud plays, a stellar sophomore EP, Eat The Sun, and a string of sold out shows on their first national headline tour, saying that Tora is on a winning streak would be a massive understatement.



For a relatively young band, Tora’s sound is surprisingly mature and impressively sophisticated. Their EP features polished tracks with a chilled RnB-influenced vibe, sharp electronic beats and stunning vocals, drawing comparison to the likes of SOHN, Toro Y Moi, Little Dragon and James Blake and earning them huge praise from music critics and bloggers across the globe.
