Hospitality is an American Indie trio from Brooklyn, NYC, formed in 2007 and consisting of Amber Papini (vocals, guitar), Brian Betancourt (bass) and Nathan Michel (percussion). The band released their first full-length album on Merge Records in January 2012 to very positive reviews.
“Going Out” is taken off the band’s sophomore album, Trouble, which features a darker sound than its predecessor. Hospitality’s trademark pop is still present but with a more stripped-down instrumentation, creating a space where undulating synths come alive and mysterious voices fill the void.
Amber Papini elaborates: “Most of the songs are about everyday environments that arouse anxiety or unease. I think a lot of the songs deal with this ‘out of place’ kind of theme, feelings of unease and the questions of what is under you or what surrounds you.”

The Radio Dept. is a Swedish band fronted by friends Johan Duncanson and Martin Carlberg. The pair recently announced the release of their fourth studio album, Running Out Of Love, on October 21st via Stockholm-based premium pop label Labrador Records. This will be their first full length recording since 2010’s critically acclaimed album Clinging To A Scheme. First single “Swedish Guns” is a haunting takedown of the Swedish arms industry.
Running Out Of Love is about life in Sweden in 2016 moving in the wrong direction: politically, intellectually, morally. It’s about the impatience that turns into anger, hate and ultimately withdrawal and apathy when love for the world and our existence begins to falter.
