French songstress Bettina Kee (aka Ornette) released her debut album, Crazy, at the end of 2011 and garnered a lot of praise for her crowd-pleasing single “Crazy”. What the young artist never expected was that the song’s remix by Parisian duo Nôze would end up shooting straight up the charts far beyond Ornette’s native France.
Six months after this amazing debut, the lady is (already) back with the Crazy Friends EP, released a few weeks ago via Discograph / Get Physical (the label who brought you Booka Shade or M.A.N.D.Y). The four-track package features two duets (Mike Ladd, Ours), a new song and a pretty daring cover of Justice’s “On’n’On”.

WhoMadeWho‘s new album, Brighter, is currently making quite a splash on the indie dance/nu-disco scene, and it couldn’t be more deserving. This is the Danish trio’s second album in less than 12 months (their mini-album Knee Deep came out in April 2011) and it shows their evolution towards a darker sound, increasingly influenced by techno and deep house, particularly on the vocal-driven “Never Had The Time.”
The band is now giving their fans an opportunity to put their own spin on the track through a Beatport-sponsored remix competition. If you want to win a pair of AIAIAI headphones, grab the stems on Beatport, mix ’em up your way and upload your submission back onto Beatport before May 7th…
WhoMadeWho - Never Had The Time (Michel Moraes Remix)
Not enough? Still want more? Well here is a bonus track off the trio’s new album. It’s called “Below The Cherry Moon” and it’s simply sublime. Enjoy!

Back in February, he dropped his debut EP, We Can Dance, via LA-based label Binary, featuring three original tracks and brilliant remixes by Goldroom, Fabian, Frames and Moonchild.
While Lancelot’s solo debut has been consistently praised by critics in Australia and abroad, the young artist has also managed to build a solid reputation as an expert remixer. His kick-ass funky productions for the likes of Matt Corby, New Navy, Faker, Penguin Prison, Toucan, Tim & Jean (and many more) have been spreading like wildfire on the internet, earning him many new fans. Here is a quick selection…
