TIM AYRE – MEXICAN HOLIDAY (House/Electro – Australia)

Australian alt-pop artist Tim Ayre is a composer, singer and songwriter based in Sydney. Better known as one half of the duet Tim & Jean, embarked on his solo adventure back in 2019, crafting luxurious dream pop gems which borrow from the Beach Boys, the Beatles, the Flaming Lips, Stevie Wonder or Daft Punk to create something unique with a modern yet vintage aesthetic.

‘Mexican Holiday’ was featured on Tim Ayre’s 2021 EP Modern Life (released through Kitsuné Musique) and later remixed by by French musician and producer. Speaking on his remix, Montmartre writes: “I wanted to bring my punchy and sunny sound to the voice of Tim Ayre with an electro pop vision of the track that brings back the summer. It gives a cocktail of freshness that makes us relive those good times by the pool and sway on this beat that recalls the vacations.”
