CARLOS ARES – LA BOCA DEL LOBO (Folk/Indie – Spain)

Galician singer songwriter Carlos Ares sheds his skin every time he creates. At only 28, he is experimenting with a new way of composing songs that has crystallised in his second album: La Boca del Lobo (The Wolf’s Mouth). This is the follow-up to his hit debut album Peregrino, with which he won over critics and audiences alike.

Carlos Ares presents a more complex and equally interesting album, where he once again composes and produces all the songs in their entirety, pushing the boundaries of alternative pop to new heights. La Boca del Lobo, released by BMG Spain, is a work that clearly demonstrates his commitment to originality and the avant-garde through organic expression.

Carlos Ares has returned to capture the dance of masks and anguish he experiences when he begins to fulfil his dream of making a living as an artist. Ego, flattery, ambition, and love, of course, understood within this new context… All of this leads him to enter the wolf’s mouth on his own two feet, without fear and with the prudence of someone who knows he is choosing his own path.
