CUT COPY – HAIKU FROM ZERO (Alt/Electro – Australia)

Australian synth-pop powerhouse Cut Copy is back with a their fifth studio album, Haiku From Zero. First single “Airborne” was released in July as a teaser for the new record, closely followed by the mesmerising “Standing in the Middle Of The Field” and more danceable “Black Rainbows”, which you can stream below.

Released via Cut Copy’s own imprint Cutters Records (licensed to Astralwerks in the US), Haiku From Zero is the band’s first full-length release since 2013’s Free Your Mind. Less immediately danceable than some of their previous work, this new release still features the kind of 80s-throwback vibes that have come to define Cut Copy, with electronic grooves and psychedelic synths featuring prominently from start to finish.
