RÜFÜS DU SOL – BREAK MY LOVE (Dance/Synth – Australia)

Sydney three-piece alternative dance outfit RÜFÜS DU SOL are back in the limelight with their smashing new single “Break My Love”, as well as news of their forthcoming fifth studio album Inhale / Exhale, coming this October via Rose Avenue/Reprise Records.

“Break My Love” follows on from the band’s earlier releases this year, “Lately” and “Music Is Better”, which marked their first new music in three years, and the track is classic RÜFÜS, bringing together textured sound design and blissful lyricism. Tyrone Lindqvist’s smooth vocals shine as he adds a hopeful, emotional layer to the dreamy production.

Since the release of their previous record Surrender in 2021, RÜFÜS DU SOL won a Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Recording in 2022, were twice-nominated the following year for Best Dance/Electronic Album and earned their fifth ARIA award in Australia.

They also criss-crossed the globe appearing at festivals across Europe and South America, and performing at some of the most iconic venues in North America. The band are now set to return to festival stages overseas next year, headlining all three South American editions of Lollapalooza 2025.
