Ashwarya is a 24-year-old Indian-Australian singer and songwriter based out of Melbourne. She signed to Jarrad Rogers’ label Noize Recordings and subsequently released her debut single “Psycho Hole” in July 2020, followed a year later by debut EP, Nocturnal Hours (8 July 2021). She lists 90s and early 00s Bollywood music and artists such as Rihanna, Tove Lo, Travis Scott, Billie Eilish, or Tyler, the Creator as influences.
Ashwarya’s recent single “Up In My Head” is, without a doubt, one of her best to date and, with its dark pop vibes and infectious chorus, the song has been gaining momentum, cementing the young artist’s global reach. It will be included in her forthcoming EP, Why’s It Gotta Hurt, to be released before the end of 2023.
