EMILIE NICOLAS – HIGHER LOVE (Jazz/Pop – Norway)

Emilie Nicolas  is a Norwegian singer-songwriter who is best known for her combination of soul-inspired vocals and jazzy beats, with an electronic twist. Her debut album Like I’m a warrior (2014) made an immediate impact on the Norwegian music scene, going straight to number one and earning the young singer two Spellemann awards (Norwegian Grammy), in the categories Best new artist and Best pop act. 

After touring extensively in Norway and across Europe, Emilie returned in 2018 with the album Tranquille Emile, which includes the divine “Higher Love”. The album received rave reviews and two Spellemann Awards in the categories Best album and Best Pop Act. The subsequent tour culminated in two sold-out nights at the 1400-capacity Oslo Opera House in October ’19.
