FROUKJE – NIETS TUSSEN (ElectroPop – Netherlands)

At the beginning of the year, rising Dutch singer Froukje unveiled her debut EP Licht en Donker, to overwhelmingly positive reviews, and now she has a new hit in the making up her sleeve with single ‘Niets Tussen’ (‘Nothing Between’) – a fresh, uptempo and very danceable track that stays with you from the first listen. The hypnotic piano loop and layered beats provide the backdrop for Froukje’s strong lyrics, delivered in her unmistakable quick-fire rapping style.

The 19-year-old singer made her debut in 2020 with a viral hit about climate change called ‘Groter Dan Ik’ and, since then, she keeps surprising fans with her strong pop songs. She is currently touring around the Netherlands and will be performing at Amsterdam’s hip venue Bitterzoet tomorrow.
