Initially founded as a solo project by Australian producer/composer Benjamin Plant, Miami Horror extracts ethereal melodies from down-tempo nocturnal soundscapes punctuated by funky struts, glossy electronics, and luminous pop. With a staggering 100 million-plus combined streams under their belt, the Melbourne-based band has an impressive catalog, which includes highlights such as “I Look To You (feat. Kimbra)”, “Cellophane (feat. Aaron Miller & Gavin Turek)”, “Holidays (feat. Alan Paloma)” and “Sometimes”.
Now signed to Nettwerk Records, Miami Horror revisit and recharge their seminal debut album Illumination with a 3-disc, 10th-Anniversary edition, which features four B-sides and twelve remixes, including Franc Moody‘s first class rework of the band’s 2010 single “I Look To You”, with guest vocals by Kimbra.
