One of the best acts to come out of Belgium in recent years, Warhola is the moniker of Oliver Symons, a multi-talented musician who writes, produces, and performs mind-bending synthpop with fantastic vocals. Co-produced by Symons and Wouter Souvereyns, Warhola’s new single “Jewels” features Wouter Souvereyns on bass, guitar and live percussion and Moreno Claes on bass.
For the video, Danish director Anders Malmberg created a dark universe inhabited by bejewelled gymnasts. Check it out below!

After completing a sold tour in their home country of Belgium and filling up Antwerp’s Sportpaleis Arena with 20,000 fans, Oscar & The Wolf returns with new single “The Game”, out now on Play It Again Sam. The song was co-produced by Noah Breakfast (Tunji Ige, Christine And The Queens) and it features the kind of looped synths and dramatic beat drops frontman Max Colombie explored in the band’s debut album Entity, only a shade darker this time around.
Speaking about “The Game”, Colombie explained: “The track does build on the spherical electro sound of Entity. However I feel like it’s evolved to a late night remix of that sound. It’s grittier, darker and sexier but still about relationships and doubt. Ultimately I’d describe it as tears on the dance floor in the dirty twerk remix.”

Gabriel Ríos was born in Puerto Rico but relocated to Belgium at a young age to make music and study painting. After fifteen years and three albums he decided to move to New York in 2011 for what would become a 3-year songwriting adventure in the city. For one year between October 2013-2014, he decided to share one new song a month with his fans via his website and the first song “Gold” was an instant hit, which gave the project a good start in Europe.
A dance remix version of the same song, made independently by Australian producer Thomas Jack, went viral, opening new doors and unexpectedly introducing Gabriel Ríos to a new audience that might not have discovered his music otherwise.
Ríos’s fourth studio album, This Marauder’s Midnight, was released in late 2014 in Belgium/Netherlands/Luxembourg and May 2015 in the rest of the world. It is available in physical stores and online.

22-year-old techno girl Charlotte de Witte, who goes by the DJ name of Raving George, teamed up with singer/songwriter Max Colombie, of Oscar & The Wolf fame, to deliver a club-ready jam that combines icy-cold minimal beats with melancholy vocals. Straightforward and uncompromising, this beautifully produced new song takes its full flavour as the evening turns deep and dark.
Wrapped in layers of hazy synths and pulsating laptop beats, Colombie’s mesmerising voice speaks of passion, cursed love and intangible dreams. Listen to the track on SoundCloud but be warned, once you have heard it you will want it on repeat for the next few days. The single is out now with an exclusive remix on Pias Belgium.
