CLUBFEET – WE ARE AFFECTED (Indie- Australia)

Clubfeet

Melbourne-based outfit Clubfeet have a brand new single out and it’s stunning! ‘We Are Affected’ is the four-piece’s first splash of new music since 2013’s critically acclaimed Heirs & Graces. Recorded with co-producer Beni Single and mixer Eric J (Flight Facilities, Chet Faker) the new track is lifted from their forthcoming EP, due for release in early 2016.

Clubfeet first sprang to local and global attention when they released Gold on Gold through cult NYC house label Plant Music in 2010. Their sophomore release, Heirs & Graces, saw the band mature and expand their palette – spawning breakthrough tracks like ‘Heartbreak’ and ‘Everything You Wanted.’

CLUBFEET – CAPE TOWN (SynthPop – Australia)

Clubfeet are back with “Cape Town”, a new dreamy tune taken off their sophomore album Heirs & Graces. With this unassumingly cool and sexy track, the Australian / South African five piece take us for a ride around the hot streets of Cape Town, where the party goes on far into the night…

Fellow Aussies Panama bring the disco to this slow paced number, giving it a solid groove and an extra shot of floaty synths tailor-made for the dance floor.

CLUBFEET – BRIGHTLIGHTSBIGCITY (Pop – Australia)

Clubfeet

“BrightLightsBigCity” concludes the six-chapter collaboration between Australian/South African synthpop outfit Clubfeet and fashion videographer Alex Goddard. For this last video, Goddard hand-painted the processed 8mm frame by frame in an extremely exhausting process that has definitely paid in spades. It features subtle nods to each of the previous clips, including personal favourite “Last Words”. Watch it on Vimeo.

There are accompanying remixes by The Whip, Jetlag (feat. Andy Rourke of The Smiths), Mercury, Body Language and All Dom Wrong (Plant Music’s founder).

VIDEO : CLUBFEET – FALL FROM HERE (Pop – Australia)

“Fall From Here” is the latest video to come out of the collaboration between Australian/South African synthpop outfit Clubfeet and fashion videographer Alex Goddard. Conceived as a video illustration of the songs from the band’s 2010 album Gold on Gold, the project has so far delivered four chapters: “Edge Of Extremes”, “Count Your Lovers”, “Broken Hearted” and “Last Words”.

As a bonus, check out the following remixes of “Edge of Extremes” and “Last Words”…

CLUBFEET – LAST WORDS (Electro/SynthPop – Australia)

Clubfeet

Melbourne five-piece Clubfeet “create music for the night time, which can also be enjoyed in the day time”. It is dreamy, melancholic indie-pop, that sounds just as inspiring on a club floor on a Saturday night as it does on a lazy Sunday by the sea side, something you could file next Junior Boys, Hot Chip, Fujiya & Miyagi and M83.

Clubfeet‘s Last Words EP came out about a month ago, featuring stellar remixes from French House legend Dimitri From Paris, Andrew Maury of RAC and London’s nu-disco duo The C90s. It is also backed by a gorgeous video directed by fashion videographer Alex Goddard. Watch it here!
