After the success of previous singles “Promises” and “Ghosts”, Aussie duo The Presets are releasing a killer remix EP for the song “Fall”, taken off their critically acclaimed album Pacifica. Julian Hamilton explains that this song “celebrates love wherever you find it” and was inspired by a story “about a gay woman whose mother wouldn’t accept her homosexuality. The line ‘two soft bodies, all the way to hell’ was something the mother had said to her daughter.”
The remix package features a suite of amazing reworks by Hook N Sling, Tomas Barfod, Ta-Ku, Alan Braxe, Erick Rincon and SymbolOne, alongside an alt mix by The Presets.

Jonathan Boulet is a 24-year-old musician from Sydney’s northwest suburbs who first came to public attention with his fantastic 2009 self-titled debut album, which spawned singles such as “A Community Announcement” and “North to South East to You”. Three years later he is back with an equally thrilling and joyous new record: We Keep The Beat See The Need Start The Heart.
While Boulet’s debut was entirely performed, recorded and produced by the young artist in his parent’s garage, on this new album he is still at the reins, but this time he has opened the doors to the garage, and it shows. On We Keep The Beat… he holds on to the tumbling drums, propulsive beats and multi-layered harmonies but the album also sees him expanding his unique style into new sonic spheres, of unusual intensity and power. Check out hit singles “Trounce” and “This Song Is Called Ragged”…
