Based in North London, alt pop duo Tender consists of Dan Cobb and James Cullen, two friends who started out in 2015 creating dark and seductive grooves that eventually got them signed to independent label Partisan Records. Their debut record, Modern Addiction, was released in 2017. Some of their tracks were featured in a number of television shows and movies, most notably the Netflix film To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and television show How To Get Away With Murder.
In 2019, the pair released their sophomore album Fear of Falling Asleep to some great reviews, praising their flawless melodies and powerful hooks. Taken off that album, “Tender Love” is a perfect example of Tender’s mellow, 90s inspired blend of pop.
