YELLE – COMPLETEMENT FOU (ElectroPop – France)

French dance-pop purveyors Yelle have recently returned with their long awaited new single and album, Complètement Fou, released worlwide last month.

Fronted by sparky chanteuse Yelle, nee Julie Budet, with GrandMarnier (Jean-Francois Perrier) on production duties, Yelle first arrived amid a flurry of 80’s inspired pop and brightly colored electro. Complètement Fou retains pretty much everything fans have come to love in their two previous albums and with the added touch of LA-based producer Dr. Luke (Katy Perry, Pink) and his team.

To get the party started here is an entrancing remix of “Complètement Fou” courtesy of former Yelle collaborator TEPR, who brings a slightly darker tone to the track. Enjoy!
