LCD SOUNDSYSTEM – OH BABY (Electro/Rock – US)

Brooklyn-based electro rock outfit LCD Soundsystem has been active since 2002 and, over the last nearly two decades, they have released 4 albums, 3 live albums, countless singles and received accolades and awards galore. Almost two years in the making, the band’s third studio album American Dream was released on September 1, 2017 through DFA Records / Columbia Records and received critical acclaim from music critics.

Written by band leader James Murphy, “Oh Baby” is the album’s opening track and it was also the third and last single taken off the record and released in September 2018. Check out the video directed by Rian Johnson below and a lovely cover by Icelandic synthpop act Voxy P.
