OSCAR & THE WOLF – ENTITY (Indie – Belgium)

Hailing from the northern city of Ghent, Oscar and The Wolf is one of the most promising new acts to come out of the Belgian indie scene. With a couple of EP’s under their belt and dozens of gigs in every corner of Europe, the band is ready to bring up their game with the release of their much anticipated debut album Entity.

Both musically and visually, the heart of Oscar and the Wolf is Max Colombie who, having composed much of the album in his bedroom in Brussels then recorded in both London and in his native Belgium, overseen by the much lauded producer Leo Abrahams (Brian Eno, David Byrne, Jon Hopkins, Wild Beasts) who mixed the album. In Colombie’s own words, Entity is ‘one long serenade in which I try to express my desires and my view of things to a loved-one’.

Released in Belgium and the Netherlands last April, the album will be available in the rest of the world on October 13th but you can preorder it from your usual downloading platform. In the meantime you can grab two excellent remixes for free HERE and HERE.
