ZIVERT – В МИРЕ ВЕСЁЛЫХ (House/Funk – Russia)

Two years after her sophomore album, Vinyl #2, Russian singer songwriter Zivert released her new LP, В Мире Весёлых, at the end of 2023. The cover of the 14-track album, referencing the aesthetics of disco and house, is a clear indication of the artist’s music direction.

Indeed, Zivert calls the album an experiment, where the singer departs from the vintage sound of her first releases and goes in search of genres that reflect her inner world and state of mind. This new record takes Zivert into the world of disco house, African beats, jazz, 80s New York garage and vocal house, not unlike Moloko’s “Sing It Back”.
