DREW – HARD TO LOVE (Pop – Denmark)

Based out of Copenhagen, Drew (aka Michelle Drew Nielsen) is a Danish-Welsh singer songwriter who is probably best known as one half of electro/IDM duo DREWXHILL. With two solo singles under her belt, she is slowly making a name for herself in her home country as more than just another pop singer. Combining bouncy drums, bold trap-inspired beats and no-nonsense lyrics, her new single “Hard to Love” was produced by fellow Dane Ole Bjørn Sørensen and released via Warner Music Denmark.

Drew has toured with Dúné and Alex Vargas in her native Denmark and she was also featured on Red Bull’s Stripped Sessions earlier this year. Over the summer she performed an acoustic version of “Hard to Love” at SPOT Festival in Aarhus, flanked by nothing more than a guitar, proving that good pop songs can sound great live.
