EMERSON LEIF – BAD COMPANY EP (Chill/Alt/Electro – Australia)

Back in October, Australian artist Emerson Leif gave us a stunning single called ‘Wake Up With You’ and announced he was working on his debut EP and would share it soon. Well the day has come and Leif’s five-track EP is finally here! Bad Company is a very nice collection of his smooth and stylish electro alt/pop tunes, which can be likened to a mix between The Internet, Blood Orange and Chet Faker. 

Helping out with production and mixing is Emerson’s regular collaborator and good friend Golden Vessel, and when these guys go into a session together, you can pretty much guarantee that nothing but pure quality is going to come from it. This EP is strong evidence of that!

Emerson Leif explains: “I am excited to share my first EP, ‘Bad Company’. This collection of songs weremostly written and recorded in my lounge room, and in between gorging myself on ramen on a recent trip to Japan. My good friend Golden Vessel co-produced and mixed the EP and the cover art is a photograph I took in the front room of my house last winter.”
