TROYE SIVAN + BROODS – EASE (Electronica – Australia)

South Africa-born, Australia-raised singer-songwriter and actor Troye Sivan gained popularity as a singer on YouTube and in Australian talent competitions. In 2015, he released his fourth EP, Wild, followed by his debut studio album, Blue Neighbourhood, which includes the song “Ease”, co-written and produced by New Zealand duo Broods.

With his ever growing popularity, Troye Sivan has attracted reworks from impressive names like RAC, Tigertown, Son Lux, Hot Chip or Young Bombs and “Ease” couldn’t be any less. To tackle this emotionally driven song, Sydney duo Vallis Alps slowed it down, stripped out the original beat and added layers of vibrant synths.
