WAFIA – I’M GOOD (ElectroPop – Australia)
In the past few years Brisbane-based singer songwriter Wafia has been making a name for herself in the industry, releasing popular covers, two hugely praised EPs and a handful of high profile collaborations (Ta-ku, Louis The Child, Charles Murdoch).
After a short break, the young singer has just shared “I’m Good”, summery post-heartbreak pop song about empowerment and self-love. Released by Future Classic, this new track was co-writen by Wrabel and produced by Rogét Chahayed and John Hill, and it’s a welcome return to solo form, with Wafia’s brooding vocals soaring confidently over a funky beat, a bouncy bass line and playful strings.
Wafia is currently getting ready for a string of shows around Australia, kicking off in Brunswick on October 5th, followed by a headline US tour in November and December. For more info and tour dates, check out Wafia’s official site, Facebook or SoundCloud. Buy the song on
