WHAT SO NOT – BEAUTIFUL (Electro – Australia)

Born in Sydney in 2011, What So Not is a music project by DJ/producer Emoh Instead (Chris Emerson), and formerly a duo with singer/beatmaker Flume. “Beautiful” is taken off What So Not’s hyped up debut album Not All The Beautiful Things, released last March via Counter Records. The album features collaborations with sought after producer Skrillex, as well as Slumberjack, San Holo, and American rock band Toto to name only a few.

Featuring intoxicating vocals from Winona Oak, house-driven stomper “Beautiful” evokes a feeling of optimism and excitement, yet the duality of the vocals gives the song an undertone of longing and sadness.
