MØME + RICKY DUCATI – GOT IT MADE (Disco/Funk – France/US)

French producer Møme (Jérémy Souillart) and LA-based vocalist Ricky Ducati (better known as one half of electro duo Midnight to Monaco) share a laidback retro-pop gem titled “Got It Made”. Lifted from the duo’s forthcoming debut album Flashback FM, which will be released in February 2021, “Got It Made” is a poppy and upbeat track with 80s synths galore and subtle winks to disco, funk and French house.

Drawing on a myriad of influences, Flashback FM is a homage to an era when music was imperfect, before computer generated productions took over, is is a glorious kaleidoscopic trip back in time through the halcyon musical lineage of the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s. The Franco-Canadian duo sees their soon-to-be released album as a living, old-school album with an unabashedly modern sound.
